Course Details

Join the ICF Mentor Coaching Community of Practice and Lerae Gidyk, MCC; Carly Anderson, MCC; Margie Knox, PCC; Carrie Abner; and Alli Lake, PCC, PhD for a session exploring the evolving role of mentor coaching within the coaching ecosystem.
As this is the first gathering of this Community of Practice, we will share the purpose, make introductions, and invite participants to reflect on what would be most meaningful for this community. We will hear from a panel of ICF staff on mentor coaching, including its role in developing confident, competent coaches through observation, reflection, and formative feedback. The discussion will also highlight how mentor coaching complements coach educators, assessors, and supervisors, along with upcoming enhancements to ICF credentialing pathways.
We will close by reflecting on what has emerged and how it may shape the future direction of this Community of Practice—fostering connection, curiosity, and shared learning to elevate both individual practice and professional standards.
