Member Resource Groups (MRGs) Host October Kickoff Events 

If you haven’t yet registered to participate in our Member Resource Groups (MRGs), we encourage you to do so today. Each MRG — Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), Persons with Disabilities, and Young Professionals — will be hosting a kickoff event in October. These events are your chance to make connections with fellow coaches while recognizing the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in our profession.  

BIPOC MRG Launch Event: Empowering Diversity 

Get ready to embark on an incredible journey with the BIPOC MRG on October 5 at 9 a.m. (New York) or 9 p.m. (New York). Participants can connect with other coaches of color, access exclusive resources, and help shape the group’s future direction. Organizers plan to share their ideas and give attendees opportunities to share feedback on how the network can best serve them. 

Persons with Disabilities MRG: Disabilities Advocacy in Coaching in Latin America and the Caribbean 

The Persons with Disabilities (PWD) MRG will host a panel discussion on October 26 at 12 Noon (New York) to address the impact of providing resources, advocacy, and support to those with disabilities in Latin America and Caribbean countries. 52 million households in Latin America and the Caribbean have at least one person with some form of disability.* Join an esteemed panel of disability advocates who will share their personal experiences with disabilities, speak about their work as advocates, and provide strategies to partner with those with disabilities.

 Young Professionals MRG Launch: Generational Differences and Considerations for Coaches 

Exclusive to Young Professionals MRG members, join this exciting event on October 24 at 10 a.m. (New York) to gain a foundation for providing culturally competent coaching to clients across generations. Participants will gain understanding in how to: 

  • Identify key characteristics about each generation in the workplace. 
  • Examine potential implicit biases and stereotypes across generations.  
  • Practice strategies for coaching across generational differences.
