The inaugural ICF Coaching Impact Awards recognized coaches and organizations making a deep impact within the multi-faceted coaching profession.
We also celebrated a credentialing milestone. And in response to the rising demand for team coaching, we launched an advanced certification and accreditation that established new standards, enhancing trust and excellence in this rapidly evolving discipline.
Honoring with the Coaching Impact Awards
In its inaugural year, the ICF Coaching Impact Awards honored high-performing coaches and organizations who are helping to improve workplaces, transform lives, and contribute to global social change. The ICF Coaching Impact Awards are an evolution of ICF’s previous awards initiatives — which have included the International Prism Award, Circle of Distinction, and Young Leader Award — and consists of categories that represent different facets of our profession.

Honoring exceptional leaders — the inaugural 2023 ICF Coaching Impact Award winners recognized for their groundbreaking contributions to the coaching profession.
Reaching New Heights in Credentialing
What began in 1998 with just 34 credentialed coaches in North America has blossomed into a global movement, with 50,000+ credentialed coaches making an impact in more than 140 countries and territories across every region. This 50K milestone illustrated that more coaches are committing to the gold standard in coaching as more individuals around the world turn to coaching.
Standard-Setting in Team Coaching
To address the increasing demand for team coaching — one of the fastest growing disciplines in coaching — ICF introduced the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching, for individual coach practitioners, and the ICF Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching, for coaching education providers. These offerings bring visibility to team coaching competencies, set standards of practice, and build trust, value, and integrity among clients and coaches alike.
