Growth often demands more than scaling up — it requires a fundamental rethinking of strategy, purpose, and priorities. When construction management software company Procore Technologies realized their rapid growth could be derailed by overexpansion, they recognized that coaching could be the shift in thinking to realign goals and redefine success.
By launching their pilot coaching program during a major period of growth, Procore took a calculated risk and bet big on the impact coaching would have on their leadership. Starting in 2014, Procore initiated an onboarding plan that included coaching for new hires, as well as one-on-one sessions with senior employees and leadership. As coaching became more accessible, employees found a new sense of belonging, even during the most chaotic periods of growth.
Big growth led to a big decision by Procore to go all-in on coaching. Read about how they built their program into an ICF award winner.
