The International Trade Administration (ITA) became a vanguard of coaching among federal agencies through forward thinking. By establishing its internal coaching strategy in 2016, ITA was ahead of the curve. This positioning proved valuable when a 2017 executive order mandated cost reduction while improving performance.
While other agencies scrambled to restructure training programs, ITA’s coaching initiative continued to expand, backed by data demonstrating its effectiveness during this critical period. Through it all, ITA successfully grew its internal coaching capacity while reinvigorating its workforce.
ITA’s success stemmed from a consistent commitment to coaching and rigorous data collection to validate its benefits. Access the case study to see how they did it.
