Client Referral

This document is a one-page version of “Referring a Client to Therapy”. Similar to the full guide, this Client Referral document provides a high-level overview of the context and information needed when deciding to refer a client to therapy or other helping professional. It emphasizes the coach’s ethical responsibility to refer clients when their needs fall outside of the coach’s expertise and encourages coaches to facilitate open conversations with their client about the referral process.
