From reaching 423 million hearts and minds through our 30th anniversary campaign to launching ICF COACHBOOK™ — our first official body of coaching competencies and knowledge — 2025 was a year defined by meaningful progress. 

Together, our community reached incredible new heights: 

• Global Growth: Surpassing 59,000 ICF members and 60,000 active credentials across 155 countries and territories. 

• Inclusive Community: Championed a more inclusive, supportive profession through critical DEIB initiatives like the launch of the Kaleidoscope Member Resource Group. 

• Generosity in Action: More than 3,300 volunteers contributed over 240,000 hours of service to move our mission forward. 

• Community Engagement: ICF Engage grew its active community by 66%, showing how deeply our members value connecting and sharing insight. 

Building What’s Next

The momentum our community built in 2025 didn’t just mark a milestone; it also laid the foundation for ICF’s new three-year strategic plan, launched in 2026. Here’s how that foundation is already shaping what’s ahead: 

• Sustainable Growth and Impact: Expanded our global reach with accelerating membership numbers, while strengthening the long-term impact of coaching through initiatives like the ICF Foundation’s Ignite Initiative. 

• Organizational Development and Excellence: Modernized the member experience through our new website and received national recognition for advancing the coaching profession by earning three ASAE Power of Associations Awards. 

• Coaching Excellence and Value: Strengthened coaching standards through the Global Coaching Job Analysis and ICF COACHBOOK™. We also introduced the new Acceptable Use of AI and Client Protection Guidelines and the AI Catalyst Series, helping coaches approach emerging technology with greater confidence and clarity.
