–The world’s largest organization leading the coaching profession celebrated coaching’s legacy and future amid its 30th anniversary in San Diego–
Lexington, Kentucky, USA — The International Coaching Federation’s (ICF) Converge 2025, a signature event for the international professional coaching community, brought over 1,300 coach practitioners from around the world to San Diego, California, from October 23-25, 2025. ICF Converge is the largest in-person, global coaching event of the year, where industry professionals gather to learn, connect, and build a thriving global coaching community. This year, the event was also an occasion to celebrate ICF’s 30th anniversary and look to the industry’s future.
“For three decades, ICF has been at the forefront of the coaching industry, inspiring positive change in communities, from transforming public awareness of the coaching industry to shape a better future for individuals, organizations, and societies,” said ICF CEO Magdalena Nowicka Mook. “As the coaching profession and community continue to grow, ICF Converge has become a place for practitioners to connect with colleagues, learn from each other, and realize coaching’s incredible power to transform individuals, organizations, and the world.”
ICF Converge 2025 featured keynote addresses from thought leaders Heather Hansen, author of “Unmuted” and the TEDx speaker behind “2 Billion Voices,” and Nilofer Merchant, a leading business thinker, bestselling author, and co-founder of Intangible Labs. Further, the event explored what’s next in coaching through six themes that reflect the power and breadth of the industry, including Business Development, Coaching Education, Coaching Practice, Coaching Science, Future Trends, and Internal Coaching, with sessions led by experts within the coaching community.
