International Coaching Federation Unveils the ICF Coaching Impact Awards

This new awards system will recognize the best of different facets of the coaching profession.

Lexington, Kentucky, USA The International Coaching Federation (ICF) announces the ICF Coaching Impact Awards. This new awards system will celebrate the best of coaching and ICF through a variety of categories that reflect the different facets of the profession.

Since 2005, ICF has annually honored individuals and organizations that have demonstrated a remarkable commitment to advancing the art, science and practice of professional coaching in their communities and beyond. The ICF Coaching Impact Awards are an expansion and evolution of ICF’s previous awards initiatives — which have included the International Prism Award, Circle of Distinction and Young Leader Award — bringing them all into a single, cohesive awards system to celebrate excellence in professional coaching.

“At ICF, we continuously want to recognize the best in coaching. In alignment with the ICF ecosystem, and in the logical evolution of the awards program, we are transitioning into a more recognized system that will continue celebrating the finest of our coaching industry,” said ICF Awards Director Stephanie Norris. We could not have evolved in such a way without our earlier celebrated award winners and the commitment of our expert volunteers (to whom we are absolutely grateful), who helped us develop the ICF Coaching Impact Awards structure!”

The ICF Coaching Impact Awards will maintain the robust and rigorous standards of previous ICF awards initiatives, while offering coaches and organizations exciting new opportunities to be recognized globally for their work. For the 2023 awards cycle, ICF Coaching Impact Awards will be given in the following categories:

  • The Professional Coaches category will honor individual coach practitioners who are making an impact in the profession and at ICF (an evolution of the ICF Circle of Distinction and Young Leader Award).
  • The Organizations category will celebrate businesses and organizations that have built strong coaching cultures within and demonstrate the positive effects of coaching (an evolution of the ICF Prism Award).
  • The Coaching Education category will recognize coach educators and ICF accredited providers who are leading and innovating coaching education (a new recognition).

Nominations for the 2023 ICF Coaching Impact Awards will open in late February.
