The State of Coaching Supervision Research: 2018 providesan update on academic research in coaching and clinical supervision in 2018. It examines six academic research articles on coaching supervision and eight academic articles on clinical supervision published in 2017 and 2018.
The scarcity of academic literature on coaching and clinical supervision demonstrates that much work remains to demonstrate the efficacy of supervision and understand how best to implement it for professional development. The need for more robust research is evident.
