Winner of the 2024 ICF Coaching Impact Award for Social Impact, Fundación Comunidad y Servicio is proving that coaching can change lives and strengthen communities.

Since 2018, this volunteer-driven organization has connected 700+ ICF-credentialed coaches with individuals and groups across eight countries, offering free coaching to more than 1,500 people each year.

From reducing school dropout rates and supporting health care workers, to empowering women, strengthening small businesses, and helping formerly incarcerated individuals reintegrate into society, the Fundación’s programs address some of the most pressing social challenges of our time.

Guided by a human-centered, ontological approach, the Fundación demonstrates how coaching can create meaningful and lasting social change in vulnerable communities.

The Fundación’s programs span a wide range of pressing social needs.

The Fundación’s impact is brought to life through stories like that of Cristián Ortega, who spent over 14 years in prison. After encountering the Fundación’s coaching program, he rebuilt his life with a renewed sense of purpose, successfully reintegrating into society and pursuing higher education.

At the heart of this work is the belief that coaching goes beyond individual growth. It can empower entire communities and reduce inequalities. By blending professional rigor with compassion, the Fundación is proving that coaching can be a catalyst for transformation on a global scale.
