Coaching for Inclusion and Community Change highlights how coaching can drive real social impact when diversity and inclusion are placed at the center.
Through the International Coaching Federation’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Chapter Initiative, local chapters around the world received support to design community projects that expand access to coaching and promote belonging. The 2024–2025 honorees — the ICF Chapters of Québec, Kazakhstan, and Korea — each showed how coaching transforms lives in different ways.
The Québec Chapter of ICF broke language barriers by making English-language coaching more visible in a predominantly French-speaking region. The Kazakhstan Chapter’s Women4Women program helped mothers of children with disabilities gain confidence, skills, and income through business coaching and mentoring. The Korea Chapter’s Inspire and Reboot the Future project built a bridge for young professionals and people with disabilities to enter the coaching field through training and mentorship.
Together, these stories prove that when coaches apply their skills to inclusion, both individuals and communities grow stronger. The message is clear: meaningful DEIB work doesn’t require massive budgets — it requires vision, empathy, and local leadership. Each project offers a model for how coaches everywhere can use their craft to create lasting change.
