Michelle Thompson, ACTC, PCC, is assistant dean and leads the Executive Coaching and Consulting Program at Concordia University Irvine’s Townsend Institute, where she oversees curriculum development and advanced training for graduate students pursuing an MA in executive coaching or a professional executive coaching certificate. Along with board service, she serves on the Accreditation Advisory Committee for ICF, contributing to the ongoing development of professional standards and accreditation processes in coaching education worldwide.

With a career spanning executive-level leadership coaching, nonprofit board service, and academic instruction, Michelle has educated and mentored numerous emerging leaders and coaches across sectors. She is recognized for promoting evidence-based practice and ethical standards in coaching, as well as for presentations that strike a balance between thoughtful scholarship and practical, real-world application.
