Chika Stacy Oriuwa is a resident doctor in psychiatry at the University of Toronto, where she made history as the first Black woman to be named sole valedictorian of her department. With a medical degree and a master’s in Health Systems Leadership and Innovation, she is a dedicated advocate for addressing disparities in Black health and combating institutional discrimination.
