MEET THE 2021 GLF SPEAKERS

  • Carrie Abner

    Carrie Abner is an experienced association executive who has advHeadshot of ICF Credentials and Standards Vice President Carrie Abneranced professional associations at the local, state, national and international levels. With a passion for bringing together diverse communities of practitioners through common purpose and voice, Abner has more than two decades of experience in communications, domestic and foreign policy, and nonprofit management in her roles at the International Coaching Federation, The Council of State Governments and the International Council for Voluntary Action (InterAction). She currently serves as vice president of ICF Credentials and Standards, where she works to strengthen and grow the certification of coach practitioners around the world and ensure the highest standards for professional and ethical practice in coaching. Carrie holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. 

  • Coura Badiane

    Heashot of Coura Badiane, Vice President of ICF FoundationCoura Badiane, MBA, CAE has a passion for international development and relations. She has experience in association management, economics, project & program management, strategic thinking, business development and strategy, and multi-cultural communications.  Fluent in French and Spanish, Coura currently serves as the Vice President of the ICF Foundation. Her previous experience includes positions with the World Bank. Northwestern University, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Radiological Society of North America. Coura holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Keller Graduate School of Management, Devry University, Naperville, IL and a master’s in International Development (MAID) from the American University, Washington, DC. 

  • Amy Bloustine, ACC

    Headshot of GLF presenter, Amy Bloustine.Amy Bloustine, ACC holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Business from Westminster College and has a master’s in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University.  She is an NYU-Certified Life Coach, a Certified Master Career Coach with GetFive, Time Management Coach, and a trained Recovery Coach through CCAR in addition to her ICF Credential (ACC). She is currently serving as the President of the Board of Directors for the New York City International Coaching Federation Chapter. For Amy, shifting into coaching was a natural transition given her first career was working in the nonprofit sector in the substance abuse field. Her breadth and depth of knowledge and experience working with individuals, families and communities has given her the unique ability to connect with people and transform their lives and careers. She has more than 20 years of nonprofit and entrepreneurship experience. She has created a nonprofit organization, worked with the DEA Educational Foundation and a national non-profit organization working to reduce teen substance abuse and support families impacted by addiction. 

  • Anik Clemens, ACC

    Anik Clemens, ACC is the Senior Development Manager for North America for the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She joined ICF Global in October 2018, after being a member of ICF Central Florida for 3 years and serving as the Treasurer on the ICF Central Florida Board for 2 years. As Senior Development Manager North America, she supports 29 local ICF chapters in the U.S. and Canada (the Northeast and Southeast Regions), ensuring a positive experience for current and prospective ICF members, credential holders, and volunteer leaders. Her goal is to serve and help expand the global professional coaching community. 

  • Luke Davis

    Headshot of ICF Coach Training Vice President Luke DavisLuke Davis brings over fifteen years of experience as both a leader in higher education and a non-profit executive focused on operations, program management, and human resources leadership. He has a master’s of education in Adult & Higher Education from the University of Missouri – Saint Louis and a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University. He is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) as well as a Society of Human Resources Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). He currently serves as the Vice President of ICF Coach Training for the International Coaching Federation leading the advancement of coach training, education and program accreditation. Luke previously served as an Executive Director of National University College as well as Founder & CEO of Make It Matter, LLC – a boutique consulting organization focused on helping individuals and companies find purpose and meaning in today’s workplace. Luke is a member of various professional associations such as ASAE-The Center for Association Leadership, SHRM-Society for Human Resource Professionals, ATD-Association of Talent Development, and a proud alumnus of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. 

  • Kirsten Dierolf, MCC

    Kirsten Dierolf, MCC, M.A., MASFP is the owner and founder of SolutionsAcademy, a global ICF-accredited coach training academy. She also coaches executives and teams. Kirsten has designed and delivered several global initiatives for leadership development for large international corporations. Kirsten is member of the ICF assessor teams for MCC and PCC credentials and a subject matter expert on team coaching and mentors MCC candidates through innovative programs and individual mentoring.  She currently serves as the president of the German Chapter of the International Coaching Federation. Kirsten was instrumental in founding the first peer reviewed journal for Solution Focused work in organizations “InterAction” in 2008 which she edited from 2008-2016. She is the author of “Solution Focused Team Coaching”, co-author of “The Solutions Tango” and “Coaching plain and simple” and editor of “Solution Focused Practice around the World” published as the result of the first global conference of Solution Focus which spanned all applications of SF, an initiative she spearheaded in 2017. She is a “virtual guru” and has been delivering online programs since 2008 when nobody even thought that this is possible. She speaks seven languages and has worked on all continents (except Antarctica). 

  • Trent Funk

    Trent Funk is currently the Strategic Development Director for International Coaching Federation (ICF) covering the Americas and Caribbean for the Pro Coaches Family. He joined the ICF in late 2020 with extensive background in customer experience, business development, international operations, and team building. He brings diverse experience from leading multi-national contact centers for Xerox as the Vice President of Customer Care, to guiding Saddleback Leather as Chief Operating Officer. He has led in the areas of IT, HR, marketing, retail, healthcare and government as well as being a veteran of the United States Army serving in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Trent is passionate about growth and has spent the past 20 years helping business and people in their pursuit of excellence. 

  • Alicia Hullinger, Ph.D.

    Alicia Hullinger, Ph.D. is Vice President of the newly formed ICF Thought Leadership Institute where she is developing a transdisciplinary network of thought leaders who, through dialogue, research, and practice will collaborate on the future of coaching and beyond. The Thought Leadership Institute is building what will one day become the Global Digital Library of Human Development and Coaching. As a sociologist, Alicia is interested in pathways of interconnectedness and integration and asks questions on how to enhance relationships within ourselves, with each other, and with our one home. Previously, Alicia was consulting with organizations on social change models in the areas of cooperative business models, sustainability, alternative agriculture, social movements, and coaching research. Alicia holds a doctorate in sociology from the University of Kentucky.  

  • Mark Hunter, MCC

    Mark Hunter, MCC is an executive and leadership coach, a published author (The Brink – How Great Leadership Is Invented – Morgan James Publishing, 2014,) and a leadership consultant and trainer. As the President and Founder of Pinnacle Coaching, his career has spanned more than 25 years working globally with top-tier business and organizational executives and prominent thought leaders. Additionally, he has spent over 14 of those years training high-level coaches to do what he does through Accomplishment Coaching’s ICF-accredited Coach Training Program, where he is responsible for training coaches to do what he does and the development of innovative delivery methods for coach training. In his private practice, his clients are C-level executives in the private sector, civic leaders in the public sector, professional athletes and teams, startup innovators, visionary creatives and front-line disruptors in their respective markets. His specialties include leadership training and development, mastery of dynamic communication, effective relationship and team building, crisis leadership, culture reinvention and implementation, market disruption, DEI initiative implementation, radical innovation, thought leadership and working with fear and the unknown as assets in unpredictable environments. 

  • Erin Hyland

    Erin Hyland is the Founder and Principal of Navigatrix Collaborative, LLC, a coaching and consulting practice. Her work centers on execution of strategic initiatives, performance enhancement and effecting change. Erin has worked with individuals, teams and organizations at different stages of development.  Her clients have included individuals in a new role or implementing a challenging project, entrepreneurs finding their footing as a start-up, and mature organizations and teams making a shift or implementing interdisciplinary projects. Erin leverages more than a decade in strategy consulting and project management of large-scale projects to support her clients in building a solid foundation and the requisite skills to execute successfully on their priority initiatives.  In her coaching practice, Erin’s clients clarify objectives, seek out what’s possible, identify needs and assess/leverage resources, engage key stakeholders as supporters, allies or partners, and build out a roadmap that breaks complex, ambitious aims into manageable, implementable components.

    Erin has a bachelor’s in biology from Cornell University and a master’s in urban planning from Columbia University. Other credentials include Certified Professional Coach with Leadership that Works, ProSci Certified Change Practitioner, Advanced Facilitation with Future Search Network and Level 2 Team Diagnostic Survey for team coaching.  Her community and volunteer engagements include serving as Board Director, Professional Development for the ICF NYC Charter Chapter, as a District Committee member and Education Committee Co-Faciliatatory for NYC District 39’s Participatory Budgeting process, and as the Glass Ceiling Committee Co-Chair for the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS). 

  • Michele Johnson

    Michele Johnson is a Senior Researcher and industry-leading client and supplier experience expert, and is currently the Vice President of Client Services for MMR Research Associates. She has established and led global teams in more than 15 markets. Leading the Kantar relationship with Proctor & Gamble Co. for four years, she supported nearly all of P&G’s brands and categories in various project and account management roles over 28 years. She has experience across CPG categories including hair care, cosmetics, over-the-counter medicines, oral care, personal cleansing/skin care, food and beverage, diapers and wipes, feminine care, and household paper products. Michele has conducted hundreds of concept tests, product tests, claims research, choice studies and line optimization research projects.

  • Kristin Kelly

    Kristin Kelly has served the International Coaching Federation since 2007 in numerous capacities (including marketing, membership and leadership development) before her current position as the Assistant Director of Ethics, Policy, and Compliance. The ICF is the world’s largest membership organization, accreditation, and credentialing body for professionally trained coaches.  She’s actively involved with ICF’s management company (Associations International), including the Recognizing Achievement and Happiness (RAH) Committee. She has served on the team that developed ICF’s New Employee Onboarding Process, the ICF Internal Communications Task Force, and has been a driver in the co-creation of ICF Culture and values for the staff.  Kristin is a graduate of the University of Kentucky (BA) and lives with her husband Jacob, their children Dillon and Azalea, and their rambunctious dog Sprinkles in Lexington, Kentucky. When she isn’t working, she can be found making memories with her kids, in the kitchen testing a new recipe, sampling a donut in every city she visits, and finding ways to incorporate Seinfeld quotes into everyday conversation. 

  • Will Leach

    Will Leach is the founder and CEO of the Mindstate Group. The Mindstate Group provides behavioral science-based tools and resources to help you build consistently effective marketing creative that drives people to listen, care and act. Will is also the founder and CEO of TriggerPoint, a leading behavioral research and design consultancy.  TriggerPoint works with the world’s largest brands to solve their biggest behavioral challenges.     

    Will has more than 25 years of behavioral insights experience, including running PepsiCo’s behavioral research lab, and is a behavioral design instructor at the Cox School of Business BLC at Southern Methodist University and Texas A&M’s Human Behavior Lab. Will is also the author of the best-selling book “Marketing to Mindstatesa Practical Field Guide to Applying Behavioral Design to Research and Marketing” and a two-time winner of the EXPLOR Award for behavioral science research innovation.

    Will is an expert in using behavioral psychology to optimize marketing creative and is a frequent contributor to Forbes, where he writes about behavioral economics and behavioral marketing.

  • Rosarii Mannion, PCC

    Rosarii Mannion is a senior experienced HR Director having held key roles most recently when she worked as National HR Director in Irelands largest employer the Health Service Executive with 120,000 employees. Throughout her career she has held a number of senior leadership roles.  She is a passionate believer in maximizing staff performance, staff engagement and promoting the benefits of coaching and mentoring in the workforce. She was awarded ICF Ireland Business & Executive Coach of the Year in 2017. In 2018 she was awarded the Ireland HR Leader of the Year. Rosarii is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a qualified Mediator, Executive and Conflict Coach and holds a BA, HDip, MA and MSc and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. She is a global executive coach with an ICF Credential (PCC) and is leading a thriving international coaching practice. 

  • Magdalena Nowicka Mook

    Headshot of author and ICF CEO Magda MookMagdalena Nowicka Mook is the Executive Director and CEO of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She joined ICF in 2005 and has supported ICF with extensive experience in fundraising, development, consulting and association management. She is also serving as Chair of the American Society of Association Executives’ (ASAE’s) 2019–2020 International Associations Advisory Council. Previously, Magdalena worked as Assistant Director of National Policy and Director of Development with the Council of State Governments (CSG). Prior to CSG, she served as program manager for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Economic Research Service. Magdalena’s formal education includes an master’s in economics and international trade from the Warsaw School of Economics in Poland and completion of the Copenhagen Business School’s Advanced Program in International Management and Consulting. She is also a trained coach through the College of Executive Coaching, and she holds a certificate in the Fundamentals of Systemic Coaching. Magdalena is fluent in Polish, Russian, and English, and has a working knowledge of French. 

  • Tyler Parker

    tyler parker headshotTyler Parker is the Communications and Community Engagement Coordinator for the International Coaching Federation, a graduate student at the American University and a Contributing Writer for Walker’s Legacy. At ICF, she has gained experience in social media practices, public relations and strategic communications. In 2019, she earned her bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Kentucky with a degree in broadcast journalism. Beyond that, Tyler is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Society of Professional Journalists, the American Society of Association Executives and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Tyler’s favorite quote is by Maya Angelou “Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.” 

  • Daniel Pink

    Daniel Pink is the author of six books — including his newest, “When: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing,” which has spent four months on the New York Times bestseller list. His other books include the long-running New York Times bestseller “A Whole New Mind” and the #1 New York Times bestsellers “Drive and To Sell is Human.” His books have won multiple awards and have been translated into 39 languages, and have sold 3 million copies worldwide. 

     

     

     

  • Jonathan Powell

    Jonathan Powell, MS is a positive psychology coach and character development specialist who focuses on empowering diverse leaders and lifelong learners with the skills and tools to build confidence, character and resilience. He’s proud to serve as VP of Community Outreach for the ICF Charlotte Area Chapter in North Carolina. By coaching his clients toward a more robust sense of well-being, Jonathan fulfills his purpose to co-create significant positive ripples in the world. Alongside his presence, his intuitive and compassionate approach to professional partnership leads to embodied clarity and a range of shifts that make space for an enhanced human experience. He’s grateful for the abundance in his life and the joy that his work brings him. Additionally, he believes in the generative potential of thriving Black communities and appreciates excellence, honesty, different perspectives and positive relationships. 

  • Rainer Pratl

    Rainer Pratl is the Strategic Development Director for EMEA at ICF.  Rainer develops and implements strategies that strengthen ICF’s presence and influence. He focuses on member growth and deepening member engagement with the goal of establishing and growing healthy chapter communities. Rainer has a wealth of experience working with volunteers in non-profit membership organizations.  He is an experienced leader of international and virtual teams, skilled in building and leading cross-cultural teams and complex projects. Originally from Austria, Rainer has lived in London for the last 15 years. In previous roles he worked as a Corporate Development Manager at Walgreens Boots Alliance, as a Consultant at McKinsey & Co and as a Restructuring Manager at the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). Rainer has an MBA from London Business School and a Ph.D. in finance and accounting. 

     

  • Ann Rindone, ACC

She leads global development through membership growth strategies, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, and promoting ICF excellence to external audiences to elevate the profile of coaching as part of a thriving society. Ann has a deep passion for coaching and its positive impact on relationships and human potential in our globally connected world. It is through this work Ann finds her personal purpose to inspire growth and understanding so that we may all live in a more inclusive world. While many people have a bucket list, Ann has a bucket OF lists. She keeps her stuff in Omaha, Nebraska USA but finds her home anywhere she is in the world. 

  • Renée Robertson, PCC

    Renée Robertson, PCC, SCP is a veteran corporate executive who has led global sales, marketing, human resource, and talent management organizations. As a leader she has relied on her coach training and capabilities to engage organizations to thrive and achieve results. As a human resources and talent management leader, she has served as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leadership. Based on her experiences, Robertson authored “The Coaching Solution: How to Drive Talent Development, Organizational Change and Business Results.”  Recently, Robertson joined the International Coaching Federation as the Vice President of ICF Coaching in Organizations, a new piece of the ICF ecosystem dedicated to the advancement of coaching in organizations. Robertson holds an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a bachelor’s from Drew University; she has also completed studies at the University of London and the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SCP). 

  • Akasha Saunders, Ph.D., PCC

    Akasha Saunders, Ph.D., PCC is an associate with Cultivating Leadership. He stands for people’s growth and is especially interested in adult development across cultural differences. He does a good bit of work helping to foster diversity, equity, access, and inclusion in organizations and institutions of higher learning. He facilitates retreats and other experiences for connecting people across social identity differences, such as the Leading Inclusively lab at Cultivating Leadership, men’s retreat for heterosexual men and men from the LGBTQI+ community and developmental lab experiences for White and Black, Indigenous, People of Color. He teaches Gender Inequality and Developmental Psychology at St. George’s University in Grenada. He founded Sawubona Development Network as part of his commitment to making adult development and complexity principles more accessible to the Caribbean region. Akasha holds a doctorate in human development from Fielding Graduate University. He is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC). 

  • Carolina Stilhano

    Carolina Stilhano has a degree in Journalism with a postgraduate in marketing, including many courses in communications and digital marketing. She has more than 17 years of experience in marketing and communications, especially in the human resources market helping big companies to grow and develop in new environments regarding branding. She was responsible for big projects and accomplishments in companies like Merck, FedEx, Catho and YPO. She is passionate about technology and is a volunteer mentor for startups in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is also a teacher at a business school in Brazil (SENAC) where she shares her knowledge of online marketing, public affairs and social media. Since 2017, Carolina has been a staff member at ICF, supporting Chapters and Members in Latin America. Today, Carolina is a Regional Development Manager with ICF Professional Coaches and is based in Brazil.

  • Catherine Tanneau, MCC

    Headshot of candidate Catherine Tanneau, MCC, from France.Catherine Tanneau, MCC specializes in executive coaching and organizational transformation. She is the co-founder of the digital platform Welead Grow (a platform for microlearning and coaching for leaders), Dean of Activision Coaching Training Program and is the CEO and managing partner of Variations International, a firm specialized in management consulting, change process, executive coaching and governance issues. Catherine holds a Board Director’s certification and has been active with ICF for more than 15 years. Currently, she is serving as the Chair of the ICF Professional Coaches Board of Directors and has previously served as the President of the ICF France Chapter. She is also a board director at Fondation Enfance (French big Childhood foundation) and is a permanent member of the Digital Committee strategic and and Board Director at a Family holding company. For more than 16 years, Catherine has been committed to helping leaders, teams and organizations in managing complex and multicultural environments. She is specialized in change management process, digital strategy implementation, team mobilization, leadership and governance.

  • Fiona Toy

    Fiona Toy is the ICF Strategic Development Director for Asia Pacific. ICF Membership in the Far East, Southeast Asia and Oceania has grown to over 5,600 members and Fiona works to support the continued growth of ICF and professional coaching in the region. She will also seek to identify additional areas of opportunity for ICF, ensuring the organization’s long-term strength and sustainability. Fiona is based in Sydney, Australia and in addition to her work with ICF, since 1999 she is an experienced association and event management professional working in the non-profit, small- and medium-enterprise sector. She also has extensive professional experience in the music and film industries. 

  • Kathy Tracey, MCC

    Kathy Tracey, MCC, is the co-founder of the Systemic Coach Academy of New Zealand and runs Thinking Spaces which provides board-level team coaching, strategic thinking pods and leadership retreats. Kathy has a wealth of experience having been privileged to coach senior leaders in government and private sector organizations in the Channel Islands and Europe and now in New Zealand. Her clients have included senior partners in blue chip global law and accounting firms, board directors in the finance sector, and many heads of service in government departments. After 30 years abroad, Kathy decided to sell her Channel Island-based company and has returned to the country of her birth, setting up several new companies across learning and development and hospitality sectors. Kathy is the current ICF Australasia Chapter President.
