Step 1: Submit Your Application

Take the first step toward ICF accreditation by completing your application through the ICF Accreditation Portal.  Once you've submitted your application and paid the non-refundable application fee in full, your application will be reviewed in the order it was received. Within 1-2 weeks, the ICF Coaching Education team will conduct an initial review to ensure your program aligns with our accreditation standards, moving you one step closer to recognition as a trusted coaching education provider.

What's Reviewed?

  • Program hours.
  • PCC-credentialed director (Level 1 & 2).

Step 2: Application Review Timeline

Once submitted, your application undergoes a detailed evaluation based on its accreditation type. Whether you’re seeking Level 1, 2, 3, or Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching (AATC), or Continuing Coach Education (CCE), our team will assess your program for eligibility. The typical timelines are:

  • Level 1, 2, 3, and AATC: 8-12 weeks.
  • CCE: 6-8 weeks.

We’re thorough, and we’re here to guide you through it. You will receive updates and possible requests for more information via email from support@coachingfederation.org. Be sure to check your spam folder to avoid missing any updates.

Step 3: Accreditation Approval Interview

For Levels 1-3 and AATC, you will participate in a 30-minute accreditation approval interview after your application has passed review. This final step is where we solidify expectations and ensure compliance with our prestigious standards.

You’ll receive an email notification when it’s time to schedule your interview, and at that time, you can log into the ICF Accreditation Portal to finalize the details.
