Course Details:
During the coaching supervision conversation, its not unusual to experience moments of silence. What exists in that silence may or may not ever be shared. Should the silence be shared and explored, or ignored? Whether or not we give voice to the silence is a choice we make in the moment. Do we show more respect for the silence by allowing it to remain unspoken or should we encourage its unveiling? These questions and more are vital to the depth and the quality of the supervision relationship.
By attending this session, you’ll explore (a) how biases, limiting beliefs, newfound discoveries, etc. can all exist in the silence of supervision conversations, (b) whether or not we should give voice to the silence, and (c) what that can mean for you as either a supervisor or a supervisee. The shared responsibility of the supervision relationship makes it possible to create a space for personal and professional growth.
