Course Details:
Officially, 15% to 20% of people are neurodivergent (ND). However, data on underdiagnosis suggests that figures may be closer to 30% to 40%. This means every team and group coach will work with ND clients at some point in their career.
ND minds work differently — often with more extreme strengths and struggles. Most people will have issues with executive functioning skills. Many have also experienced trauma.
During this webinar, you’ll have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with what neurodiversity is and the appropriate language to discuss it. We will explore how neurodivergent people are different, as well as the different ways trauma may present in ND people. We’ll also consider adjustments we can make to our coaching practice to support ND clients, and review guidelines for deciding when to refer to other specialists.
