About the ICF Chapter Recognition Awards

Chapter recognition winners are selected on the basis of their annual chapter activity reports and evaluated according to ICF’s criteria for high-performing chapters. A volunteer panel of chapter leaders from around the world evaluates and selects our winners based on specific criteria, including:

  • An attractive, credible presence and voice for professional coaching and ICF in their local communities.
  • Capabilities and performance that enhances the profession of coaching.
  • A cohesive infrastructure that is developed through membership engagement and participation.
  • Models and habits aimed at sustainable governance.
  • Financial viability and transparency that increases trust.
  • Dynamic qualities of a high-performing chapter — namely agility, adaptability, accountability, sustainability, caring, innovation, and relevance.
  • Commitment to a more diverse, equitable, inclusive, and just coaching profession for all professional coaches and clients worldwide.

2025 ICF Chapter Recognition Honorees

Our 2025 honorees demonstrate the full range of what a coaching community should look like. Each winner was considered carefully for their contributions and innovation, and we are so proud to help facilitate these amazing chapters. With chapters in 140+ countries and territories throughout the world, we host this virtual award ceremony twice to accommodate distinct time zones and include all those who wish to celebrate. Both ceremonies honored the same chapters.

The Delhi NCR, India Chapter

The chapter created a “home for coaches and coaching enthusiasts” through structured outreach, strong word-of-mouth advocacy, and digital engagement — resulting in significant membership growth and positioning coaching as a force for nation-building.

The Egypt Chapter

Grounded in strong governance, accountability, and ownership. The Egypt Chapter created meaningful partnerships through formal legalization, chartering, and the active embodiment of DEIB principles. The chapter built a safe, inclusive space that responds to diverse member needs while fostering a highly engaged, impactful community.

The Jordan Chapter

The Jordan Chapter built a strong, membership-first ecosystem by separating acquisition from retention and creating defined engagement touchpoints with a clear conversion pipeline that highlighted the value of membership. The chapter also focused on diversifying revenue streams to expand professional and business opportunities for members.

The Korea Chapter

The Korea Chapter made coaching more accessible through a member-led social media video that demystified coaching in a simple, engaging way. It also supported young professionals through structured mentoring and one-on-one coaching sessions. Through its DEIB grant initiative, the chapter further supported emerging coaches, including individuals with disabilities, while adapting programs to meet evolving learning needs.

The Lebanon Chapter

The Lebanon Chapter fostered a strong sense of belonging through highly personalized member engagement, from onboarding to credentialing and renewal support. This approach was complemented by consistent in-person events and training opportunities that encouraged active participation. Strategic partnerships with local educational providers further strengthened chapter growth and community development.

The Lithuania Chapter

The Lithuania Chapter delivered large-scale public initiatives — including its Annual Coaching Forum, Ignite projects, and participation in a national discussion festival — which advanced conversations on leadership, social responsibility, and DEIB across business, NGOs, and education. It also strengthened professional practice through peer coaching and supervision programs that support competency development and credential advancement.

The Los Angeles Chapter

Guided by the theme “Better Together,” The Los Angeles Chapter created spaces for connection and stability in response to community challenges such as wildfires. Through coaching cafés, ongoing programming, and community-centered support, members stayed connected and grounded. This approach also strengthened shared leadership, visibility, and succession planning through collaboration and collective ownership.

The Mumbai Chapter

The Mumbai Chapter approached its impact on three levels: supporting coaches through continuous learning, networking, and recognition; helping organizations adopt coaching cultures for leadership and employee development; and positioning coaching as an accessible tool for growth and well-being across society.

The North Texas Chapter

The North Texas Chapter emphasized intentionality over activity, ensuring every member feels seen, supported, and valued — driving strong engagement and retention. This approach is reinforced by a leadership team that prioritizes alignment, trust, and healthy challenges, creating a culture of clarity, mutual respect, and strong commitment to members.

The Philippines Chapter

The Philippines Chapter described 2025 as a “B.I.G.” year — defined by Breakthroughs, Innovations, and Game-changing decisions. It expanded coaching visibility through sold-out summits, a regional ICW conference, and institutional partnerships. At the same time, it made bold shifts toward sustainability by transitioning from free to paid events and from pro bono to low bono coaching, while continuing to grow its pipeline of credentialed coaches and strengthen its long-term impact.

The Pune Chapter

The Pune Chapter brought its “Roots and Wings” theme to life by staying grounded in its regional identity while expanding its global reach. Through member engagement, community outreach, and sustainability efforts, it honored its local foundation, while initiatives such as global peer coaching, collaborative ICW events, and contributions to ICF committees extended its influence worldwide.

The Québec Chapter

The chapter combined professional development with tangible business impact through its RFP platform, which generated significant member opportunities, and a highly engaging Congress that reached nearly half of its community. It also strengthened long-term credibility through partnerships with leading universities and structured governance practices, including succession planning and leadership onboarding.

The Romania Chapter

The Romania Chapter combined professional development with tangible business impact through its RFP platform, which created significant opportunities for members, and a highly engaging Congress that reached nearly half the community. It also strengthened long-term credibility through partnerships with leading universities and structured governance practices, including succession planning and leadership onboarding.

The Singapore Chapter

The Singapore Chapter amplified the visibility of coaching and positioned ICF as the gold standard through strategic partnerships and strong engagement with media, trade, and nonprofit sectors.
