International Coaching Federation and Oman Energy Association Forge Partnership at ICF MENA Conference

Lexington, KY
– The International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Oman Energy Association (OPAL) have established an innovative partnership through a formal agreement signed during the ICF MENA Conference’s “Impacting the Future.”

This historic agreement marks the first of its kind between an Omani organization and ICF, aiming to deliver diverse coaching services to OPAL members while promoting and cultivating a coaching culture and its positive impact on organizations. These services will now form an integral part of the offerings provided by OPAL to its esteemed members.

“We are thrilled to form a strategic alliance between ICF and OPAL, dedicated to fostering a coaching culture across OPAL member companies,” stated Robert Garcia, ICF Vice President of Coaching in Organizations. “Together, we aim to inspire, empower, and drive profound growth through coaching that will enhance leadership capabilities and excellence across organizations.”

Under the collaboration, OPAL and ICF are committed to providing professional coaching support to OPAL member companies, aiming to foster coaching cultures across the OPAL membership. The alliance will actively encourage and showcase the tangible Return on Investment (ROI) of embracing a coaching culture within member companies.

The two organizations will join forces to conduct webinars, providing insights into the myriad benefits of cultivating a coaching culture within companies and facilitate connections to approved continuing education providers capable of delivering comprehensive training for those interested in coach training.

Additionally, ICF will support existing OPAL training centers in achieving accreditation, enabling them to train interested parties directly and further enhancing the overall impact of this collaborative venture.

“This alliance not only fortifies our dedication to excellence but also marks a significant stride in furthering progress and development within our industry,” Abdul Rahman Al Yahyaei, CEO of OPAL, stated. “We look forward to the positive impact this collaboration will bring to our member companies and are excited about the transformative journey ahead.”

This groundbreaking partnership signifies a pivotal step in advancing professional coaching within Oman’s energy and minerals sector, underlining both organizations’ dedication to fostering growth, development, and a culture of excellence.
