ICF Coach Training’s Board of Directors is a governance board. We expect board members to have the capacity to think and act as oversight and be future-oriented. It is important that all members collaborate well and engage in productive dialog. All members will be expected to commit to 3-5 hours of one-off and scheduled board meetings / working sessions per month.
ICF Coach Training board members are expected to attend one (1) annual board meeting in person (time of year and location to be determined, especially during the COVID era). ICF Coach Training shall offer each board member compensation to cover travel-related expenses to attend the annual in-person board meeting. ICF Coach Training will also cover expenses related to any necessary board retreat. Such retreats, for instance, could include a strategic planning retreat that occurs every three years, which would be in addition to the annual in-person board meeting for the year.
Once appointed, ICF Coach Training directors serve a two-year term and not more than two consecutive terms before a one-year break in service.
