Candidates who do not earn a pass score on their Performance Evaluation have two options to proceed with their credentialing application. Performance Evaluation Retake Option – Candidates submit a new performance evaluation recording and accompanying transcript(s) within 6 months of their results notice. Where can I find my performance evaluation feedback from the assessor?

The assessor(s) will provide feedback on your submitted coaching session(s) regardless of if you passed or not.  You may access the feedback from inside your Credential application towards the bottom of the Performance Evaluation tab(s).  You will receive an email when the feedback is available.     You may access your application by signing into your ICF …read more.

The transcript must be verbatim, word-for-word text and also indicate who is speaking—the coach or the client—at any time in the conversation. Can I submit a recording in my own language?

Yes.  The session submitted is to be with an actual client of yours.  Therefore, it should be conducted in whatever language the client is most comfortable in.     NOTE: Transcripts need to be in the same language used in your recording. Can I submit a session from the Reciprocal Peer Coaching program?

Yes.  As you are matched with another coach for several sessions, they are considered to be a regular client. 

For the 2 recordings at the PCC and MCC levels, do they both need to be in the same language?

No.  Each recorded session may be in a different language. 

For the two (2) recordings required at the PCC and MCC levels, can the recordings be done with the same client?

Yes.  You may submit two different recorded sessions with the same client. 

If my client is also a coach, is that okay?

August 31, 2022

As long as the client on the is a regular client of yours, you may submit the session, even if the client is also coach.  A regular client is anyone who comes to you for coaching and for no other purpose.
